The Eggersmann FORUS F 25 is a mobile shredder designed to deliver reliable material reduction with adjustable shaft programs that control the speed and power each shaft operates at. This, along with a robust 252hp output engine, maintains cutting efficiency under fluctuating loads. Its balanced drive system and optimised rotor ensure steady feed engagement and control material movement across the cutting chamber. This produces a uniform output at throughputs of up to 40t/h. The modular frame and wear-resistant components support an operating weight of 18,500kg, enabling long service life under continuous operation. The design also ensures low maintenance requirements and accommodates diverse waste streams without compromising operational stability.

The Eggersmann FORUS F 25 features twin 1.5m-long shafts that can be programmed to operate at different speeds and torque levels independently. This makes the shafts able to be configured to suit different material characteristics, offering industrial shredder performance for biomass, wood chipping, waste recycling and RDF production; operators can influence cutting aggressiveness and throughput by altering rotational settings to optimise shredding, particle size reduction and fuel preparation for composting or anaerobic digestion without hardware change, which reduces downtime, lowers maintenance on wear parts, improves energy efficiency and broadens the range of usable inputs so the machine remains productive even when feedstock quality varies while providing precise control for downstream screening and processing.

Quick change breaker bars
You can easily adjust the end grain size using the breaker bars, available in 120 mm, 150 mm, 300 mm, or 500 mm options. Thanks to the hydraulic mounting and locking system, the bars can be swapped without any tools, and the entire process takes less than 10 minutes.
With hydraulic locking and lifting, swapping between breaker bars is quick and can be completed using basic tools and a forklift. Once changed, the different configuration of each breaker bar will allow you to improve efficiency when processing different materials, as well as achieve different piece sizes.
