Operator Comfort as Standard
Operator Comfort as Standard
A comfortable operator is a productive operator, and this machine features a purpose-built demolition cab that can be tilted up to 30 degrees. This allows for a comfortable and sustainable posture when working on tall structures for extended periods. Visibility is exceptional, with no beam between the front window and the skylight to obstruct the operator’s view upwards. The standard-fit air suspension seat provides excellent shock absorption and includes a heater for comfort in any season. All critical information is displayed on the industry’s largest 10-inch colour monitor, which is easily navigated via an intuitive jog dial.
REQUEST A QUOTESafety First with the Kobelco SK550DLC-11
Safety First with the Kobelco SK550DLC-11
Demolition site safety is paramount. The SK550D LC-11 integrates advanced technology to provide exceptional awareness and accident prevention. The standard Eagle-Eye View system uses cameras on the right, left, and rear of the machine to eliminate blind spots, with the feed displayed clearly on the large cabin monitor. To prevent accidents during operation, the innovative Cab Interference Prevention System alerts the operator and automatically performs a soft stop if the attachment comes too close to the cab. Furthermore, a stability warning system constantly calculates the machine’s posture and alerts the operator with an alarm if it detects a tipping hazard.
REQUEST A QUOTERapid Assembly for Maximum Uptime
We understand that time spent on transport and setup is lost revenue. That’s why the Kobelco designed this machine for quick and easy assembly and disassembly, ensuring maximum uptime. The NEXT attachment joint system uses a simple hook and pin structure that allows for safe and rapid boom changes. For transport, the machine’s crawler width can be hydraulically retracted without needing to lift the machine, and the counterweight is designed to be easily separated. Even hydraulic pressure can be drained safely from a menu on the operator’s monitor, simplifying the entire disassembly process.
