Kobelco SK400DLC-11E’s Key Features
A Powerhouse in Construction Machinery
A Powerhouse in Construction Machinery
At the core of this excavator is a high-output ISUZU 6HK1 four-stroke diesel engine, fully compliant with EU Stage V emission standards and ISO 14396 specifications. This formidable Isuzu 6HK1 engine offers direct injection technology and a water-cooled intercooler, delivering an impressive 210kW and ensuring optimal displacement for exceptional performance required to operate heavy attachments like large nibblers and crushers with speed and precision. The large fuel tank supports extended operations, while the advanced hydraulic system ensures efficient, productive work cycles. The engine and hydraulic output are perfectly synchronised, giving operators the power and control needed for any application, from carefully dismantling structures at height to applying maximum force at ground level, all while considering the price of this high-performance equipment.
REQUEST A QUOTEOperator Comfort as Standard
Operator Comfort as Standard
Understanding that a comfortable operator is a safe and productive one, Kobelco has equipped the sk400dlc excavator with a specialised cab designed for the unique demands of demolition and construction applications. For high-reach work, the entire cab tilts up to 30°, providing a comfortable and strain-free upward line of sight. An air suspension seat with heating is fitted as standard, absorbing vibrations and preventing fatigue during long shifts. The cab’s design provides excellent visibility, with angled guard rails and no beam obstructing the view between the front window and the skylight, ensuring the operator has a clear view of the attachment and the work area at all times. Additionally, the construction machinery features a powerful diesel engine with direct injection, operating at a displacement that delivers 210 kW at 2,000 min-1, enhancing overall performance in various construction tasks.
REQUEST A QUOTESafety First with the Kobelco SK400DLC-11E
Safety First with the Kobelco SK400DLC-11E
Safety is non-negotiable on any work site. The excavator integrates Kobelco’s latest technology to provide outstanding situational awareness and accident prevention. A comprehensive camera system, including right, left, and rear views, is equipped as standard and can be displayed on the large 10-inch colour monitor. This monitor, the biggest in its class, gives a crystal-clear view, and the operator can select an ‘Eagle-Eye’ top-down perspective to eliminate blind spots. The machine also offers a Cab Interference Prevention System, which alerts the operator and automatically stops the attachment if it comes too close to the cab. Furthermore, a Stability Warning System calculates the tipping danger based on the attachment’s position and provides an alarm if it detects a potentially unsafe situation.
REQUEST A QUOTEMaintenance Made Easy for Maximum Uptime
Downtime is lost revenue, which is why the SK400 is engineered for efficient transport and setup. The machine’s revolutionary NEXT system enables attachments to be assembled and disassembled safely and quickly at ground level, drastically reducing the time needed to change configurations. This is complemented by aspects such as multi-couplers for simple hydraulic piping connection. For transport between sites, the hydraulic variable undercarriage can be retracted to a width of under 3m, while the counterweight is separable for easy removal and reattachment. Even daily tasks are simplified, with the ability to drain hydraulic attachment pressure directly from the operator’s seat via the monitor.
