Molson Group has been accredited by the Living Wage Foundation. A commitment to supporting its teams and the wider community, it means anyone aged over 21 working for them in the UK, including subcontractors, gets a guaranteed hourly wage higher than the legal minimum.

The only UK wage rate independently calculated based on the real cost of living, it is significantly higher than the government minimum for over 21s, which stands at £12.21 per hour as of April 2025.

The construction equipment supplier joins over 16,000 accredited Living Wage employers who have voluntarily committed to paying their direct employees and subcontractors fairly so they can meet their everyday needs.

The rate applies for both direct employees and subcontractors, reinforcing Molson Group’s commitment to investing in its people and building a stronger, more sustainable future for everyone.

Annalea Ormiston, Group Head of People for Molson Group, said, “This is a milestone moment for us. Our people are at the heart of everything we do, and ensuring they are paid fairly and treated with respect is non-negotiable.

“By achieving the Living Wage accreditation, we are not just meeting standards, we are setting them. This commitment underpins our belief that doing the right thing for our people is doing the right thing for our business.”

Since 2011, Living Wage Employers have secured over £3.6 billion of pay rises for low paid workers and made a profound difference to millions of lives around the country.

Katherine Chapman, Director for the Living Wage Foundation, said: “With this accreditation, Molson Group joins thousands of small businesses, as well as household names such as Burberry, Barclays, Everton Football Club and many more.

“These businesses recognise that paying the real Living Wage is the mark of a responsible employer and believe that everyone needs to be able to live with dignity and have a decent standard of living.”
