As the environmental impact of construction comes under closer scrutiny, Statom Group is leading the way with a £4m deal on fuel-efficient Kobelco machinery from Molson Equipment.
A specialist independent construction business, Statom Group is experienced in delivering Civil Engineering, Demolition, Remediation, Groundworks and RC frame projects across the UK. ISO 14001 accredited, Statom’s commitment to continuously improving environmental performance led them to sign the deal with Molson for 48 units from machinery manufacturer Kobelco.
Renowned for their superior fuel efficiency and powerful performance, the Kobelco excavators will ensure Statom continues to deliver projects to the highest quality and sustainability standards. Delivered from September to October, leveraging Molson Equipment’s extensive in-house production facilities, the machines include mini excavators, conventional and compact radius models.
Whilst SK30SR-6E and SK50SRX-7 mini excavators will provide tough, full-size performance on compact sites. The SR Series models, including the SK85MSR-7 and SK140SRLC-7, combine power, speed and design to ensure optimal, uncompromised operations, with the SK210LC-11E also supplied to deliver on the heaviest tasks.
With some of Kobelco’s models now offering up to a 20% reduction in fuel consumption compared to previous models, with no drop in power output, adding them to the fleet will help Statom save money and achieve its carbon emissions goals.
