Assistant Treasury Manager

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Treasury Manager with treasury function experience to join our team in Bristol.

Main Responsibilities:

Bank Reconciliations:

  • Responsible for bank reconciliations for all group companies.
  • Ensure accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.
  • Post Australia bank transactions and manage month-end manual postings in Excel.
  • Oversee MES & MGL USD postings for USEG bank transactions into 310.
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial data.

Stocking Plan Management:

  • Organising stocking loans with our funders.
  • Identifying funding options.
  • Maintain accurate records of loan transactions within the ERP
  • Set up loans.
  • Set up repayment schedule.
  • Process repayments.

Interest:

  • Post all interest cost for the group ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial data.

ONS Returns:

  • Prepare and submit ONS (Office for National Statistics) returns as required.

Balance Sheet Reconciliations:

  • Support with balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Currency Management:

  • Update currency rates regularly.
  • Perform currency revaluation for both UK and US operations.

Support the AR and AP teams:

  • Batch management.
  • Coding.
  • Process reviews.
  • Team management.

Support Group Treasury Manager in their duties as required

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Care of company vehicle and reporting of defects.
  • Good communication with customers and other staff.

Work Experience Requirements:

  • Familiarity with UK accounting standards and financial regulations.
  • Experience of working in a fast paced, dynamic and growing organization.
  • Team management.

Education Requirements:

  • Desired but not required – Formal training in finance or a related field. AAT or studying towards a CCAB qualification.
  • Good general level of Education including English, Maths, and IT.

Other Requirements:

  • Strong Leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management ability’s.
  • Proficient in the use of ERP systems.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information to various stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and solve problems.
  • Proactive approach to addressing issues and implementing improvements.
