Main Responsibilities:
- Answering the main line and escalating queries to the Field Service Controller
- Raising Quotations & Service work orders on the in-house system and scheduling to engineers
- Organising and planning engineer’s schedules across various depots for routine maintenance and breakdowns on machinery
- Working with the parts team to ensure parts are available for engineers to attend site
- Organise and maintain the daily/weekly WIP (‘Work In Progress’ report)
- Raising purchase orders
- Assist service control and management with cost and completion of service work orders
- General data entry and other tasks requested by the business
Additional Responsibilities:
- Attending regular service meetings
- Work to develop a technical/mechanical understanding of the products
- Covering and support service administration role as and when required (Holiday / Sickness)
Work Experience Requirements:
- Demonstrable customer service experience, in a similar role or industry
- Proven administration experience
- Good organisational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a busy, ever-changing environment.
- Excellent level of attention to detail and conscientiousness.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Mathematically competent with good IT skills.
- Confident and clear telephone manner.
Education Requirements:
- Good general level of education including English, Maths, and IT.
