We turned up the heat (and the ovens) across our depots as we hosted a breakfast bake-off to raise funds for Breast Cancer Now and bring teams together for a cause close to many of us.
The theme? Simple: wear pink and bring your best breakfast-inspired bakes. Across all our depots, team members pulled out their whisks and creativity to deliver everything from sausage rolls and breakfast muffins to scones and cookies. It wasn’t just a fundraiser, it was a full-on celebration of team spirit, baking talent, and compassion.
The friendly competition was a great excuse to come together across different departments and share a brew, have a laugh, and take a moment to reflect. Behind the pink outfits and impressive bakes was a real purpose: raising money and awareness for Breast Cancer Now, a charity that supports world-class research and vital care services for those affected by breast cancer, working towards a future where everyone diagnosed lives and is supported to live well.
Almost everyone in the business knows someone who’s been impacted by cancer whether personally or through friends and family. That made the day all the more meaningful, and the turnout showed just how much this cause resonates with our teams.
From workshop to office, everyone got involved and the sense of unity was clear. The bake-off judging may have been tough, but the winners were everyone who took the time to bake, donate, or simply show up in pink to support the cause.
Thanks to the incredible effort from across the business, we raised valuable funds to support Breast Cancer Now’s mission and had a great time doing it.
