Three of our apprentices, Daniel, Louis and Connor all successfully passed their Level 3 Land based Service Engineering Technician apprenticeship at Wiltshire College.

We’re marking their achievement as part of National Apprenticeship Week, which is a seven-day celebration of the positive impact these schemes make on individuals and businesses.

Two of our newly-qualified apprentices came through the Bristol Bears HITZ programme, which is just one of the paths new joiners can take to learn and grow with our business.

United by their resilience, commitment and determination, they overcame hurdles and hiccups with the support of their depot teams. So their success is not only their own, but a reflection of the mentors, peers and colleagues who have guided them along the way.

Reflecting on his experience, Connor said, “There were times when I didn’t think I’d get here, but having people believe in me made all the difference. I’ve learned that it doesn’t matter where you start, if you put in the effort and have the right support, you can achieve things you never thought possible.”

Annalea Ormiston, Group Head of People said, “As Robin once said, ‘We will take them under our wing, and they will be alright’. Each and every person involved in Daniel, Louis and Connor’s journey has stood by their word and we couldn’t be prouder of the way they’ve embraced every challenge with grit and determination.

“A huge thank you goes out to everyone who has been part of this journey. Together, you’ve helped shape the next chapter for Dan, Louis and Connor, and in doing so, shown what’s possible when we believe in people.”

Robin Powell, CEO, added, “This achievement is more than just a qualification, it’s a powerful reminder of what young people can accomplish when given the right support, belief, and opportunity. We are incredibly proud of these apprentices and even more excited to see what they do next.”
